The town walk (2.8km) is looking great with a good range of flowers, including orchids and everlastings. The Bushland walk (2.3km) gives great views over town. The wreath flowers are still a little slow but there are some on Wongoondy-Tardun Rd (dirt).
Coalseam Conservation Park has drifts of everlastings at the look-out. Coalseam has interesting geological features and camping is allowed. Reports of Red-tailed Black Cockatoos in park. Care required after rain on dirt roads.
